Great Food. Cheap Prices:
Christie's is nestled way back off the road almost hidden,so I drove by the place several times. But when I found it....Was I suprised. This is a Gem of a place. The food is awesome! Greatest breakfast I have ever eaten out,hands down.
I went back several times afet my first visit,I actually am a regular now. But,I tried lunch the last time,and I was blown away. I had the Hamburger steak(Jake style,you have to get it explained to you,It's onions peppers mushrooms and some sort of spice it was just wonderful),Creamed potatoes(Real hand peeled potatoes!),Fried corn(Homemade too!),and Fried okra(Hand breaded!), and two peices of cornbread,which incedentally enough is also homemade!
It took less than 6 mins from ordering to eating so express luch,this is your place!
They have recently started this new incentive, If your food isn't to you within 15 minutes,its free!
Also,everytime you eat in there you are entered into a drawing for a free lunch that they draw 3 times a week!
The hours are Monday-Friday 7-3 Saturday 7-2
Prices range from .99(coffee) to 15.99(The BIG Jake)
One thing I left out...The BIG Jake. It's an omlette of HUGE proportions! It has Hamburger,ham,bacon,sausage,country ham, onions,tomatoes,peppers,3 kinds of cheese, wrapped in 14 eggs! 14!!! It's a monster!
But give these guys a try! It's Ran by it's namesake Christie,Jake(Her son),and Brenda(Jake's Girlfriend).Just 3 people and the service and the laughs don't stop!
