Cleopatra's Barge

Cleopatra's Barge even has its own plank, that gently rocks back and forth, leading to the dance floor. Live bands play top 40 hits and pop dance music. No cover, but two drink minimum on Friday and Saturday nights.

A piece of Caesars Palace--and Vegas--history, Cleopatra's Barge is a bar and lounge whose tiny dancefloor is located on a rocking, dry-ice enveloped replica of the Egyptian queen's barge. Prime hours find it packed with Scotch-swilling, fortysomething conventioneers, but the central location and that damned amusing barge make it a good spot for an early-evening or late-night cocktail.

This is a small, unique nightclub set in part on a floating barge -- you can feel it rocking. The bandstand, a small dance floor, and a few (usually reserved) tables are here, while others are set around the boat on "land."
