Office staff here is very rude. I was given a knee brace along with samples of medicine to take home and then low and behold a bill comes for the knee brace weeks later. I called immediately and asked what it was for. They should have told me I would be charged. The office mananger was so rude and would not even let me get a word in edgewise. When I finally was able to talk she told me that I would not be charged. However 1 and half year (approx) later i was called up by a new but equally as rude office girl and told I still owe money. I told her that this was resolved long ago. I then get a new bill with a handwritten message that says this verbatim "you do owe this money. The receptionist never told you she would take care of it. We can not control what insurance charges. Sorry for the incovinence" (not sure what incovinence means though) Well even handwritten messages from them are rude. They can however control what they say they will do and apparently they do not care. Also the Dr himself took a personal phone call from his son while sitting in the room with me, congratulating him on his boards. (talked for about 5 minutes) while I sat there. Crazy! He is nice enough. But that is unacceptable. Would never return, more so because of the horrible office staff. They do not listen to you and then charge you for things without telling you that it costs to have them. Then tell you they will take care of it and then don't. Run, don't walk away from this place. Bayside Ortho much nicer and friendly staff who actually CARE about you the patient not the nickel and dime operation.
