Don't use this business:
If you are looking for a Limo service in Houston or for Galveston, please think twice about this company. I have a recorded conversation with one of there employees that is very rude. Let me tell you the whole story.
Our family of 7 is going on a Disney cruise out of Galveston. It made more sense to book for transportation with a service that could accommodate our large group and luggage. I called around for prices and found this company, Emerald Limousine, the price was for $150 to our hotel from the airport. Sounded reasonable. When we arrived in Houston and got to the baggage area, the limo driver picked us up, we were even early. He was so amazing. I guess he set the standard for what to expect on our return when we get back from the cruise and headed to the airport. I had requested champagne and cider, which he had stocked for us as well as pop and ice. Like I said he was amazing. In our party there is 4 adults and 5, 7 and 13 year old. In asking about our return if he would be picking us up and taking us to the airport, he said No, his son had a football game. We understood how that is very important to be at those.
When we arrive back to the pier we are able to get off and go thru customs a lot faster then they say. I called the service and ask if there is any chance we could get picked up any sooner. She told me she didn't think so but would let the driver know. Ok, sounds reasonable. The time I called was 8 and I had forgot it took an hour from Houston, and we had scheduled for 10. Well it is 10:20 when he shows up. What? When we first meet I ask how traffic was, thought maybe there had been an accident that would delay it. No, he started to tell me about the weather. Ok, so no reason for delay. We had text each other about when and how long he would be there so we were already getting off to a bad start. It didn't get any better when he could not explain why he was late. OH my goodness you should have seen this guy, he had white work gloves on, the ones that you use for wood, his clothes were wrinkled like he overslept! Maybe why he was late. When you open the door to the limo there are is a napkin and candy cane laying on the floor and the carpet is very dirty. The glasses had been used and dirty. hum looks like there had been a party? Ok that is what a rented limo is for. But when it comes to signing the contract I was not going to be responsible for this mess, I did not want to sign it. When he put us in the limo we drove down a ways then pulled over, this is when we did the paper work. Well it is getting worse. Since I wont sign he calls into the office, her and I speak and she is getting frustrated with this whole situation, well so am I and I am the one who is paying. She tells me that if we don't sign we are breaking the contract, they already have been paid for the deposit. Then we would have to find another way to get to the airport, well we are not even back at the pier now. I had to think about the kids. They sure didn't. So I signed and told them I would not pay for the items I had pointed out. OK, so we are now on our way, One of the ADULTS not a child doing the I gotta go potty just to go play. NO we had a real life OMG I have to go to the restroom. I tried the intercom nope no answer, I had my 7 year old beat on the partition, because we could not get that down. Nope no response. I sent a text and called him, NOPE nothing. What are we to do?? So I called the office and spoke to her about how we could not get in touch with the driver. She KNEW what I was needing and why we needed to pull over. WHAT? She knew, and then proceeded to yell at me and go off on me, I had my grandson record it. She was yelling so loud it all had no problem recording. Then hung up on me. The driver Bryan did text me and let me know he would pull over. Thank goodness. But what if this had been a serious medical emergency? There is more but at this point the recording says it all. I have contacted the owner thru email and Facebook. No nothing. He has not addressed this. They advertise this on there web page when you read this statement it was nothing like the service we received. The better business is my next contact.
