Empire Theatre

The Monkey Wrench Collective is a storefront performing arts theater in Fullerton. It hosts young talent in contemporary plays and renditions of old-time classics. One of the more memorable performances showcased by this theater included a modern-day version of West Side Story, among others. Some plays are rather forward, with radical adult themes and notions.

Literate, exciting stories brimming with dynamic situations, sharp imagery, brutally honest acting and laugh-out-loud humor. Brain food that enlightens, asks questions and entertains. The frankness of that kind of theater troubles some people, but it's also extremely exhilarating-especially in the intimacy of our 50-seat space.
