Horrible Customer Service:
Liars, Horrible Customer Service, and Over Priced Used / Refurbished Merchandise...

I dropped off a $275 Haze Machine for Repair, and they pretty much Insisted that it was Basically a $50 Fog Machine... And the Brand was written on the side, but they kept saying it was another brand ... (They Basically had NO CLUE)

It kind of Dawned on me that they don't deal with Fog Machines, but only Amps and Speakers, but they wanted to convince me to use their services any way...They said the Diagnosis would be $20 and complete in 3-5 or Days, and they would Call Me...

3 Weeks went by, and No Call ... So I showed Up to see what was going on... Come to find out, they didn't even start, and pretty much forgot about the whole thing... They didn't open, or run tests on it at all... All they did was plug it in an outlet, and tell me it wasn't coming on (like I already did at home.) ...

So my Time and Money was wasted, because they wanted a quick 20 Bucks for something they know little about... Then they offered to sell me a Broken (Yes Broken) 30$ FOG (not Haze) Machine for 90$ ... They even told me that the fan was bad on it, so it will "Seem" like a Haze Machine... At that point I was Insulted... So I requested to get my Money and my Item back...

One employee knew that they were in the wrong, so he offered to refund me my money out of his own pocket... While the other worker was dead set on keeping my money for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING... Then he tried to tell me what he THOUGHT was wrong with it without running any tests, to TRY and justify him keeping my money... But I demanded my Refund... and eventually they gave me my item and my money back.

From my experience, they can't be Trusted, they take too long with your items, and the items they sell are Prices way too high for Used / Malfunctioning Merchandise ... They sell them for Store / New Retail Prices... And they also think we know NOTHING about our Equipment.

I would Steer VERY Clear away from Emperical Sound if you Value Time, Money, and Customer Service.
