Should be called far below expectations:
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS. Having purchased furniture from several major retailers and few smaller stores, I have an idea of what to expect when buying home furninshings, and Far Below Retail truly was FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS.
First off, my 2 week couch took four weeks and I never once received a phone call from FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS to let me know when I could expect the couch. When I took time off of work because the couch was FINALLY ready, the delivery company showed up after 9pm on a Friday night (3 hours after when Far Below Expectations told they would arrive) and DUMPED THE COUCH IN THE MIDDLE OF MY ENTRY WAY AND LEFT. They didn't unwrap it, didn't take the wrapping away with them, not to mention they did not INSTALL THE LEGS ON THE COUCH.
When I unwrapped and placed it my living room, I noticed that the seams on the (really, really, hard) cushions were already loosening, and even open in some spots, and the pillows which were supposed to be with it were MIA and of course the a**hole delivery men had not left me any receipt, much less instructions on how to install the legs.
I could have gotten the same (or better) couch from any store in town for the same price, paid $50 for delivery (less than FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS) and not had to sit around for 5 hours waiting for a**hole delivery men to dump the thing in my living room.
Don't waste your time and money at FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS - go someplace with anidea of what customer service and communication should be.

Far Below Expectations:
We found Far Below Retail at "Wholesale Furniture Brokers" - www.gowfb.com. The web site showed 72 beds in the style we wanted in stock, but the store actually has no inventory and everything must be ordered. We were beginning to believe the bed we wanted could not be bought in a store, so we decided to give ordering through FBR a try.
The salesman recommended a bed from a local company for their "high quality" and "fast delivery" - he said he expected the bed to be delivered within 3-4 days. He also said their low overhead allowed them to sell their products "below Living Spaces prices."
Two weeks later, we called and learned our bed had come in, but they had not bothered to call us. We drove the 20-mile round trip a second time to pick up the bed.
When unpacked, the headboard was scratched and dented on the right and left sides, with damage clearly visible from in front of and on the bed. It was poorly patched with unsanded and unstained wood putty. We asked the owner, Nathan, tif they could deliver a replacement bed free and pick up the damaged bed, since we had already driven to his store twice.
He refused, and worse, he and his staffer Misty both copped bad attitudes. After we returned the bed to FBR, we found EXACTLY THE SAME BED AT LIVING SPACES FOR $100 LESS -- and we had an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE AT LIVING SPACES...
DO NOT SHOP AT FAR BELOW RETAIL. THEY SHOULD BE CALLED "FAR BELOW EXPECTATIONS."

Great Prices, Excellent Customer Service, Fast and Reliable Delivery:
We found Far Below Retail on Craigs List and we are so happy we did. When we went to the store, they were extremely helpful and informative. They saved us hundreds of dollars and delivery was fast and reliable. The furniture arrived when they told us it would and the quality is excellent. They offered us interest free finance and a great protection plan. The store is small and they do not have a lot on display but they have a ton of catalogs to look at and select from. Also, they are hard to get on the phone. We have nothing but good things to say about Far Below Retail and will continue shopping there for our furniture needs.
