John is the BEST!!:
I started using John Yaroch for my property inspections in 2008! As a new real estate agent he made me feel comfortable as well as my clients!! I have never used another inspectos since. I constantly have other agents calling me for his information. He is truly the best. Anyone who hasn't used him before should try him one time for yourself and you won't use another inspector afterwards! If you had a bad experience I'm curious to know why?
John is awesome!:
I hired John to do an inspection of a foreclosure I have contract on and he spent over 4 hours doing the inspection! He's got great equipment like a thermal imager that can see through walls and find moisture due to termites or leaks. He spent over 40 minutes under the house documenting everything. He had a portable laptop and printer and was able to print us off an official home inspection right in the kitchen! I have a feeling that bad review was from a competitor. Probablly one of the guys that quoted me over $100 more to do half as much as John does.
One of the BEST:
I saw the review below and thought, "You've got to be kidding me."
I first met John Yaroch about 10 years ago when I represented a seller and he was the buyer's home inspector. He was so thorough and detail oriented I thought, "I want him representing my buyers." My clients have used him, always impressed with his attention to detail, thoroughness, explanations, and lastest gadgets to help him to his job.
I don't know the details of the other person's experience, but he's a retired electrical engineer and has been tried and true (not to mention ASHI certified and current on continuing education) for 10 years. The other review sounds like a competing home inspector to me.

The worst experience we could have ever imagined.:
Having John Yaroch and First Landing Home Inspectors was the absolutely the worst experience we could have ever imagined having. We could not, in good conscience, ever recommend John Yaroch and First Landing Home Inspectors to anyone.
In my opinion, he must be the worst home inspector in Virginia, maybe the east coast.
