Warning!:
My husband & I are staying at the Hyatt Place hotel in San Antonio. Where we got a flyer from Giovanni's under the door. Thinking the hotel endorsed them, we ordered a giant, hand tossed, meatlovers pizza and some hot wings. What we got was a giant, COLD!!!!, CARDBOARD THIN!!!!, NASTY!!!!! tasting pizza and something that "they" must call lasagne, (also COLD). Hubby called back first about the hot wings, and was told that he'd send the driver back with them. Then we saw the pizza :( it tasted even WORSE than it looked. So I called them up to tell them I thought they gave us the wrong order. As I'm dialing I find out my husband paid $39 for this uneatable "S@!T". The guy said it was the right order except for the wings and he was sending the guy back. I told him we had ordered a hand tossed and that the pizza was cold. He said "I KNOW the pizza is NOT cold!" I told him he was welcome to come touch it if he'd like. He said "we are not giving you a free pizza!!". I said "excuse me"? He repeated himself. I said "we don't want a FREE pizza!!! He went on about "knowing it wasn't cold. I said "so now I'm a liar? He said "I didn't say that, but I know the pizza isn't cold cause we did it in 45 mins." And again told me he was NOT gonna give us a free pizza. I said..."GOOD!, I tell ya what.....you send the driver back with our $39 and he can have all this back!!!! He said "NO we don't give refunds! He went on very rudely assuring me all I was going to get was the wings. I said but how do you expect to stay in business if you don't make your customers happy? He said "I dunno". So I said ok, let me talk to the manager. he said your talking to him. So I said fine, then let me talk to maybe the owner or someone who might care about this business. He said " Ok, call back tomorrow....". I said " tell ya what...I'll do better than that....". He said fine! and hung up.
Now, hours later.... we're past hungry, yet still can't stomach the thought of eating anymore than the few bites each we had of a slice of pizza.
Less than 1 piece missing, $40 WASTED!!!, and I wouldn't feed this to a dog much less recommend this place to anyone....Even, ( ESPECIALLY), when you're starving!!!!
To be fair...we did NOT taste the pasta dish. Oh, nor the wings....lol.....they NEVER came. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!
PS. Hubby talked to hotel...they said They DO NOT endorse this place and have had to call the police several times because they sneak in and slide the flyers under the doors.
