The restaurant opened 1980 by Jean and Elisabeth Sabarots. Jean and Elisabeth come from the Basque area of Europe. Elisabeth brought her expertise , having worked in a hotel there and Jean brought his business sense. Together they have made the Glendora Continental a long standing business on Route 66.
