The One and Only Animal Hospital:
I have been taking my pets to Green Oaks for several years!!! In my opinon there isn't a better place to take them. I know that when they are there, the staff at Green Oaks treats them as if they were their own pets. They are very compassionate about their job. They will go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable and to insure that they gain client understanding of animal health. I firmly believe that Dr.Dye stays up to date with today's animal medicine and equipment. I would never trust anyone else to take care of my animals as well as this animal hospital does. Michelle Kay

I had no problem with the family and behavorists recommendation to end the life of this patient prematurely. Under Article VI Sec 6.02 of the Arlington Animal Services Code and the Texas Administrative Code, any person knowing of an animal bite is required to report that bite. The Arlington Animal Control is required to investigate that bite and make disposition. We simply followed the law. We made no decisions regarding quarrentine, as Animal Control does that. I am unaware of any false information given by us and the investigator has made no mention of such when I visited with him on several occasions after learning the family and friends were so upset.
A meeting with the entire staff and the Animal Control Officer has been scheduled for 4/19/08 in an attempt to prevent other misunderstandings concerning animal bite cases.

Good vets gone bad...:
Dr. Hulka, Dr. Dye and their staff have been great, in the past, but in dealing with an aggressive dog, the staff and doctor missed the root cause. When the dog was found to be not correctable (by a behaviorist and veterinarian), the staff refused (after initially setting the appointment) to humanely put the dog to sleep before he hurt himself or others. Instead the staff reported the dog to animal control (and provided false information to do so) who then quarantined the dog and put him to sleep without the family's involvement. Please find another vet for your pets. Dr. Hulka, Dr. Dye and the staff cannot deal with difficult issues and do not care what's best for your pet or family.
