Best Barbershop I've Been To In Years....:
Overall exceptional service, sharp haircuts and memorable experience for me and my family. They've been around for about 4 years and they do cuts for men, boys, women and the Military. It was nice to see the ethnic diversity in their clients as well. "T", the shop owner, and Dayton took great care of my Dad and my boys.
My dad, 60, was a little wooly when he went in, but looked 20 years younger when he stepped out. My boys, 10 and 3, did no complaining and listened to the hair care advice they were given.
The best part about the visit was that although there was conversation in the shop, these guys didn't miss a beat. When we walked in, Chris greeted us immediately and let us know how long the wait was...5 minutes! They cut and shaved more than a few guys while we were there and I'd never seen that before. In other shops I've waited for over an hour for a barber to finish a cut and that wasn't the case here.
Something else that caught my attention was how clean the shop was. Shops I've been to in the past looked like a bathroom stall, but I didn't mind waiting at this shop. Colorful walls, clean floors, 3 flat screen TVs and great people to talk to made Headhunters feel like the neighborhood barbershop I've been going to for years. The kids were happy to take off to the mini-mart next door, load up on snacks and drinks the come back to cartoons while they waited on my Dad.
It was a great visit, we made some good acquaintances and plan to return when it's time to trim up in a week or so. If you're in Oxnard and need to get lined up, Headhunters is the place to get it done!.
