HELP of Southern Nevada was started by The Junior League of Las Vegas in 1970 as a referral service. It has grown into a social services organization with 10 programs that assists over 100,000 unduplicated clients in need.

The Displaced Homemaker Program includes work readiness assistance for individuals who lose their primary source of income due to job lay-off, divorce, disability and underemployment.
