Hotel Biron is a great wine bar you should go to even if you don't know much about wine. On offer is the widest selection of wines you will ever find in town and a variety of cheeses to go with them. The walls sport paintings by the artist of the month and function as a de facto art gallery. Biron is a great place with helpful, humble staff and a great ambiance.

A spot for your car is available in a lot across the street. The bar itself is a little tricky to find--look for the big "B" behind Zuni Cafe.

The narrow space has comfortable couches, a small bar, tall bistro chairs and tables, plus artwork by local artists (receptions are on first Thursdays). The wine list includes well-chosen and somewhat spendy wines from all over the globe, plus a menu of excellent cheeses,...

This pint-sized wine bar and art gallery brings a touch of Paris to a San Francisco backstreet.:
In Short
A handful of copper tables, wrought-iron bistro chairs and zinc-green walls decked with a revolving exhibition of local art create a Left Bank mood. The low lighting and high...
