Huntsville Depot Museum

During the Civil War, this depot was a prison for captured Confederates and a hospital for the wounded.

The Huntsville Depot and Museum is one of the countrys oldest remaining railroad buildings, visitors can climb aboard locomotives and view Alabamas largest public model railroad, Civil War exhibits and graffiti written by soldiers.
