Hyde Park Jewelers

In 1973, Hyde Park’s CEO & founder Michael Pollak began his venture into the jewelry business by selling turquoise and American Indian pieces. His first “store” was the lawn of the University of Denver, where he attended school and completed his degree in retail merchandising. While in school, Michael had met Steve Rosdal who had recently moved to Colorado, and soon became Michael’s sole supplier. In 1975, the two joined forces as Native American jewelry traders and set out to expand upon their business. In 1976, recognizing the fading popularity of the already saturated silver and turquoise market, Michael recommended approaching the market differently and developed a more contemporary concept to business.

Special services include computer-assisted jewelry design, where customers can have full involvement and can even create or restyle an existing design.
