Great Lunch in 90210:
Il Pastaio combines outstanding food, service and location. I usually go there for lunch, so I am unfamiliar with it for dinner. Generally, I have a large Italian lunch with one of their great salads or pastas and some fish and watch everybody in BH filtering by then wash it down with some authentic Italian espresso. The prices are high but it is definitely worth it.

Il Pastaio Restaurant Review:
Reasonably priced Italian cuisine --- a bit more interesting than the standard trattoria fare, and including regional specialties from owner Giacomino Drago's native Sicily --- is the trademark of this crowded and casual establishment. Information from the business

Gourmet magazine once wrote that Pastaio's cuisine is "a taste of heaven on earth". To find out whether this statement holds any water, try the prosciutto, polenta or the zucchini soufflé. There is a six-course tasting menu for those who want to try a range of dishes. The wine list is extensive and drinks by the glass are affordable. If you step in as a food critic, chances are you might end up...
