Best Irish Grub & Brew Selection!:
Thank you Jack Quinn for becoming Downtown Norfolk's "Home of The Weekend Brunch" - offering Brunch EVERY Saturday & Sunday starting @ 11am. Your made from scratch brunch featuring signatures like The Reuben Pot-Pie and Guinness Battered Fish n' Chips makes my taste-bud's happy. The Bloodymary bar is a winner & your extensive brew selection any Irish Pub should be proud of.
I recommend a pop in to Jack Quinn's with friends and family for an urban brunch even a New Yorker will love!

So Close Yet So Far:
Even under new management that can't get St. Patrick's Day right. Guinness excellent but for some reason they felt compelled to serve some drek colored green. An Irish Bar would not ever serve such a thing but then per the above they call themselves an IRASH [sic] bar. What an IRASH [sic] Bar does is have music so loud you can't hear it (which might have been the plan) jammed into the middle so there is no place to hide and in a genre that would be better for some cajun festival than St. Patricks Day. Maybe next year they can have St. Patrick's Day until around eight and then we will give way to those who want an IRASH bar.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Norfolk. I have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is grand, the food is great, and the drinks are very good. Eat downstairs if you want to fully enjoy the ambiance.

This place is good if you are looking for a club, and disappointing if it is dinner you are after. The food is passible at best. Get a table upstairs to avoid the smoke.
