Named after a fight promoter in the 1940s, this contemporary diner serves a lot of seafood, including fish, crab, shrimp and oysters. Steaks, chops, chicken dishes and pastas are also served, along with daily specials. The tapas choices are great for sharing, and there are plenty of healthy choices on the menu.

Save Time:
There's often a crowd lined up to eat, especially on the weekend. Groups of six or more, however, can make reservations and avoid the wait.

Just About Everything:
Kate Mantilini is the perfect spot for those times when you're not quite sure what you're in the mood for. Their menu is that extensive.

Everything from frog's legs to Kate's Meat Loaf, they've got it, and it's all Delicious.

In fact I just scheduled a business networking lunch with somebody that I haven't met before, so Kate Mantilini was the perfect choice. They've got something for everybody.

The booth's are my favorite, they're large and private so you can really concentrate on the conversation and the food without being distracted by the other patrons.

See you for brunch!

This high-style restaurant offers a menu of dressed-up American food, plus hipper fare like ahi medallions with a ginger-lime vinaigrette from among the tapas/small plates selections. In the dramatically stark interior, we like the mural of the boxing match high above the bar. But once you get over the atmosphere, you’ll pay dearly for simple food that is decent: rotisserie chicken, baked...
