Best Limo Service in Austin!:
I was in need for a limo for my son's friends and crew for prom night. In the past we used other services around town and had no one show up, or they were extremely late. Longhorn Limos has put my path back into limo companies in Austin! The limo showed up on time, smelled brand new, and clean. The driver went out of his way to cater to the teenagers, driving them to the best places around town, and even making sure they had music, non-alcoholic beverages, and much much more. From now on Longhorn Limos is my choice for limos and car services. I will be using them from now on for all my business needs too!

Horrible Customer Service Experience:
If you are planning to rent a limo around prom season, get ready for some MAJOR headaches, and do not expect ANY kind of customer service from Longhorn Limos.
My fiancee and I are getting married in April of '09. Back in December, we started sending out request for quotes. Some of the companies we dealt with very honest, and stated that the rates and hours for reservation will go up during prom season. After a month or so of research, we thought we would have no other option than to rent for 6 hours at $150 per... then I got a quote from Longhorn...
The quote was received again on January 7th. This was a follow up quote... we had initially received a quote from Longhorn, but had not yet called them since we were contacting companies in which our friends and family had referrals for. The quote was the same as the original.... 3 hours and a reasonable rate.
Now, since I had been talking to other companies and knew that there was a potential rate hike during prom season, the initially questioned the quote. I decided to contact Longhorn directly. The gentlemen that answered the phone was very curtious, and took time to answer my questions.... or so I thought. I specifically asked about the timing, prom season, and the quote price and hour amount. I was told that all I have to do is click the link in the quote e-mail, confirm the information is correct, SECURE with my credit card number, and we will recieve a confirmation. I even went as far as printing out the confirmation, sigining, and sent snail-mail - just to be sure. Seems easy, right.... it was... until I called a month later with questions.
I, like most other folks, would believe that if you receive a confirmation e-mail, with a confirmation #, and a snapshot of the last 4 digits of my credt card # and the amount, that you are booked.... wrong again. A month later, after a discussion with our wedding coordinator, we had decided we may need another hour with the limo... so I called to see if that was possible. I gave my name and confirmation #. What happens next is what I call the POOREST customer service I have EVER received.
After giving my information, the gentlemen that answered the phone this time, not NEARLY as pleasant as the first person, stated he did not know who I was - that I was not "on the board", as he put it. I calmly explained that I had talked to someone in the office and was told that the quote would be honored, and the deposit, etc.... He stated that they never took the deposit, and would not honor the quote. After a half hour of debating about the entire process - phone calls, getting a quote, giving a credit card number, AND receiving confirmation... they would do NOTHING - unless I wanted to book for 6 hours. I asked to talked to someone in a higher position so I could explain the problem, and was told they would not put us in touch with anyone else, and that Longhorn would do nothing about a mistake THEY fully caused.
Now, I have no problem with the fact that the company may have different rates during different time of year. The thing I DO have a problem with is follow-thru. We received NO notification that the quote or confirmation would not be honored. The ONLY reason we found out is because WE called them. Not only did they waste our time... but if we would not have called, we would have been expecting a limo that would have NEVER shown up. The lack of manging customer expectations, and serverly flawed IT systems that send correspondance that is essentially worthless almost caused us MAJOR problems on our big day.
As far as I am concerned, this company is COMPLETELY untrustworthy, and will not even attempt to help, let along talk to, the customers to try to retain business. This was absolutely the WORST service and follow-up I have ever seen. If you need a lime, do yourself a favor, and stay away from Longhorn.
