Despite the mixed reviews of this NYC import, Mercadito's Midtown Miami location is abuzz with activity thanks to fine fish tacos, fancy flavors of guac and potent, expertly shaken cocktails that go beyond the typical, ubiquitous margarita on the rocks, which, incidentally, do rock. A casual taqueria next door allows for take-out and more casual dining.
