New Dentist- Dr. Paul Quiram is excellent!:
I have been a patient of this practice for 14 years. I continue to return because of the excellent dentistry provided now by Dr Paul Quiram and his staff. I not only am impressed by the quality of work but also by the ethics they practice. Dr. Quiram is a fair, selfless thoughtful, competent and gentle dentist who caters to those with money but also to those on low-cost dental plans such as Medicaid. Dr. Kranik at My Dentist is worst dentist:
I am writing this letter regarding my dissatisfaction with dental work I have done in 2010-2011 in Dentist office and doctor :
Krainik, Gregory, Dds - My Dentist
2721 W 120th Ave
Westminster, CO 80234 39.91412 -105.016182
(303) 460-9000
Dr. Kranik did my bridge teeth numbers 17&18 if I am not mistaken, first, when crown arrived it was cracked, did not covered my roots and color did not matched and he sent it back for repair, when came back second times they still did not changed the color, (was white looked like I had gum around my teeth) my roots was not covered, had space between gums and crown ending and because of it was making my teeth hurt and sensitive to anything. Beside all of this bridge was not fitting correctly, when he was trying to fit it was like a scale, if one side was in, then end side was coming up. I told him that it was hurting and was not fitting right, also let him know that edges was not covering my roots and they did not even changed the color of it, he was ignoring me and getting upset, I could see on his face. Dr. Kranik went to next room, all I hear was “I am done with it” and in 5 minutes his assistant Amanda came back with scared and wide opened eyes, I asked her what happened Amanda? And she told me that Dr. Kranik told her – “I am done with this, just do it, cement crown-bridge with permanent feeling!” I asked Amanda why? It is not fitting and I do not wanted permanently, at least try to do with temporary cement and see how I will feel. Amanda told me that she will go and talk to him, in few minutes Dr. Kranik walked in with crown-bridge filled with cement, asked me to open my mouth and cement it. I only was able to say I did not wanted when he did not even let me talk. He told me that bridge was fine and started drawing tooth biology diagram to prove that my root cannot be covered.
After I went home and naming from medication was gone I had pain, I thought because of new crown and will go away, for two days I was not able to eat, or drink or even chew anything on my left side. I called and went back to My Dentist office, Amanda was nice and all other his assistance, they showed concern. Dr. Kranik was very rude and unprofessional, he took picture of my bite and based on the picture told me that he does not see anything and I was not hurting. I went back home. I waited week and pain during any kind of hot or cold liquid drinking or could not chew at all on that side, I called and went back in office, Dr. Kranik was rude and basically told me that I was lying... Also blamed on my gums that said I had gum disease. On my exit out administrative assistance started talking about money, I explained the situation that my crown was not even done correctly and I was expecting to be fixed first, they told me that they understood the situation and was ok. After several days his administrative staff called me again and started asking for money, also some charges and billing were done incorrectly with my insurance companies and I asked to be fixed. After he charged my both insurances Delta Dental Colorado and Delta Dental California, left me with balance of around $1900.00’s
Which is later became $2900.00’s I was also making Cash payments in between my visits. So, this is on going issue, I contacted My Dentist’s office during year and half several other times and asked to replace my crown because it still hurting and I can not use it at all, right now it is just for show function. Dr. Kranik refused to do replace and keeps talking about other issues.
During the time before he put new crowns in he recommended to me to clean my teeth with his laser cleaning device, and also let me know that it was not covered by insurance and needed cash out of my packet around $470. + I wanted to do what was best for my health and I had deep laser cleaning done, but before cleaning began, I spoke with Shandra, (Hygienist) and let her know about my feelings on my bottom teeth and crowns, asked if it was not going to remove my feelings, she was so positive that told me that it will not happen and she will do it very softly to avoid breakage. During the cleaning I felt my feelings flied out, and also hygienist told me that yes, unfortunately some of my feelings came out on my bottom teeth, and it should not be a problem, just talk to dr. Kranik and they will fix them. When I made appointment after cleaning was done, I explained to Dr. Kranik that I was not able to bite anything because all my cavities are open again and it hurts even I breath on cold air, now he refused to make feelings and blamed on me grinding my teeth at knight and that is how they all came out, and I need Guards…
I do not know how can I express my frustration and on going issue with Dr. Kranik’s service, and because of insurance paid to him, it is not going to be covered twice. I can not afford additional costs. Aditional to all of this, he turned outstanding bill to attorney's office to collect payment on unfinished job that he is not willing to fix.
