The mission of Paul Mesner Puppets is to conceive, make and perform plays of classic, folk and contemporary stories to stir the creative imagination; educate all about the art of puppetry; reach out to the greater Kansas City area in all it's diversity, and be a cultural ambassador for it in our national and international touring.

Paul Mesner is a puppeteer, author and performer living and working in Kansas City, Missouri. He started out in life as, frankly, a problem child: he embarrassed and delighted his family with apt mimicry of church choir members and annoyed his teachers with frequent and unsolicited observations on their methods.
