On Thursday August 6, 2009 at 9:20 a.m. I, was verbally assaulted at The Postal Place located at 255 G St. He was a bald middle aged Caucasian man. I along with my fiancée went in to load a prepaid MasterCard. I exited the store for a moment while Elijah was inside. This is what took place:Elijah came out of the store to tell me he found a place that would load the master card. Elijah was looking for change to pay the clerk for the 30 seconds of Internet ,I heard talking coming from inside the store. I saw the clerk making faces and cursing. I was confused as what was going on so I asked the store attendant what the problem was. He said “How about paying for what you used!â€�. I said to himâ€� I did not know you had to payâ€�. The clerk answered back “But he (Elijah) didâ€�. My response was, “There is no need to be rude, we will pay you, and he’s getting some change right nowâ€�. At that point the verbal assault began, the store attendant yelled out “How dare you call me rude in my own store, get the *Word Rejected* out,you [email protected]!%h!!!â€� I was shocked, I asked the clerk what his problem was. Elijah walked back into the store in time to hear the store attendant calling me a [email protected]!%h. Elijah was tried talking to the store attendant but he was yelling. Elijah was talking to the clerk; at that point all he was yelling was “Get out of my storeâ€� . Elijah put down a one dollar bill on the counter and we walked out.
