I have never had a bad experience at Richert Lumber. The staff is super helpful, they are fairly well stocked on most common hardware items and they have a very well stocked lumber yard.

The whole back of of the store is full of mill work and hard wood flooring samples. If you ask them, they will cut a small sample piece of trim for you to see how it will look in your house.

What is amazing is that for such a small store, they have and excellent selection of just about anything you could want for a DIY project from bathroom fixtures to entry doors and locks or even outdoor lighting systems.

Keep in mind that most of the specialty items such as doors and windows will have to be ordered, so you need to plan ahead and order your supplies well in advance.
