Tips

Parking:
Restaurant staffers go into a tizzy over double-parking on Beacon Street. Avoid the temptation while picking up takeout or incur their wrath--not to mention a possible ticket.

Editorial Reviews

Though the settings of this "super-casual" "mom-and-pop-style" Thai mini-chain are "bare-bones", fans don't mind because clearly "all the work goes into" the "beautifully plated" eats; it's "quick" and "cheap", but "make sure you have cash", seeing as plastic isn't accepted.

Popular, pocket-sized outpost serves exemplary Thai cuisine to cramped but thankful Coolidge Corner denizens.:
The Scene
Some restaurants have broom closets bigger than Rod Dee's front-of-the-house operation. Six mismatched tables are crammed into what should just be a delivery pick-up window....

Information from the business

Rod Dee Thai has two great locations in the Massachusetts area: Beacon Street in Brookline and Peterborough Street in the Fenway district in Boston. Both restaurants each serve the same high-quality Thai food that you've come to expect from Rod Dee Thai.

The Zagat Survey describes us by saying that "inside awaits 'exquisite' Thai 'delights' that 'blow away' the fare offered at 'many fancy restaurants'; the 'outstanding' dishes are among the 'most authentic in Boston' (and 'as spicy as you want them'), and the 'prices surely can't be beat.'"
