Horrible Customer service, poorly ran company:
I would not recommend this company. I called them a month ago to give a quote for some duct work replacement in a 3 foot crawl space, person who normally does the quotes said she was sending someone else because she doesn't like crawl spaces. Guy named Rick came and kept suggesting just getting a new AC and Furnace and they would cut us a deal on the duct work. Received quote a few days later from owner Sharon for AC, Furnace and Duct work all in one. Responded to her email that we only wanted duct work quote and no response. Called Sharon, she quoted me $1500 for duct work in crawl space and said she would email me updated quote, which would be changed to flex pipe instead of solid metal as it is now, there is 8 runs and the down flow part of the furnace and another piece of sheet metal for the closet. Never received quote so I emailed her 6 times asking for the written quote, still never received it, but she did respond 13 days ago and tell me they would stick to what she told me $1500 and Rick would be out on June 30th, emailed her June 26th to get a time frame of when they would be out, no response. My husband called and she told him they would be out at 9am. 9am they show up and state that she misquoted the amount and thought she was quoting a basement job down the street and it would now be $2500 and they can't do it today, we would have to reschedule. This company is a joke, unprofessional, unorganized and horrible customer service.
It was 8 degrees outside and 11am when my furnace went out. I called Sharon's and they were able to make it out the same day, fixed my furnace and gave me a great price for the repairs!
Great Products, Price and Service:
I've been using Sharon's for routine maintenance for years and finally had to break down and buy a new furnace and air conditioning. I've been completely satisfied with their pricing and service.
Find another Heating/Cooling Providers:
Well I literally live right next door to Sharon's, and even getting charged their full SERVICE fee's I never complained because I was typically happy with their service. Well in Oct. 2010, I was told I needed a new furnace. So after much calling, research, etc I decided to give Sharon's my business because of the Rheem rebates, incentives, etc. I was advised by their person Becky that she had to complete the rebates (though I asked what I needed to submit for them). Because I'm so ANAL, I don't expect ppl to do their jobs right, but I left it alone. I did get my consumers rebate. But not the Rheem, which was $400.00. I contacted Sharon's to follow up and was advised at that time that I WAS suppose to submit for it. WELL WHERE was this documented? or advised...I"M SO TICKED Off...I attempted and gave Becky almost 2months to resolve this, but I kept getting the blow off, "Promised" return calls that were never returned. FINALLY I write a letter and issue a complaint with BBB. In my OPINION this company cost me $400.00, WHY would I not submit for this if I was appropriately advised???? I'm not rich and spent $3,000 on a furnace from them...NEVER again. THEY HAVE ZERO customer service!!! DO yourself a favor and find another furnace company I am...and I will assure you everyone one I know will hear my complaint, along with my realtor friend!! In a service industry when you FAIL to respond to a CUSTOMER SERVICE issue, it's just ridiculous! Their furnaces are no better than any others, its a furnace it puts out heat/air, like any other does...my motivation was the financial incentive for this. I'm writing the company, and going to find the Rheem rep in this area. I think they shouldn't be allowed to represent this product!
For a woman who owns a business, I feel like she should be doing more to ensure her clients happiness/and attempt to follow up with issues. What a complete failure in my opinion. I work in the Legal field, much like anything its a service industry....if you don't have Customer Service YOU dont' have anything. I doubt they'll respond to BBB, but rest assured I'm not done on my end!
AGAIN...a business who fails to respond, ONLY shows that they failed to provide the proper service/business....IGNORING the issue does not make it go away. However, I find this business practice rather childish!
