VERY disappointed with this companies service. Spoke with them on phone, looked them up, and also went over their return policy BEFORE ordering. And all SEEMED terrific. I placed an order for plastic molded " eyebrows" for my car. The cost 100.00 so not cheap for 2 little pieces of plastic. When i got them i immediately watched their INSTALL VIDEO and proceded to clean the headlites and install the eyebrows. The first one WOULD NOT stick AT ALL. It kept poping off. I tried to call company and they were closed.so I am quite handy with stuff like this( i grew up around car mods) so i ran to oreillys and got ACTUAL 3M tape. Can back spent 2 hours preping the eyebrow for the new tape and NOW this one sticks. Moved to the second one and it SEEMED to adhere well. Left car sit UNDROVE for 2 days. Took car for window tint. They seemed fine there cause my window tint guy commented on them. Left and drove home about 40 miles. When i got home and parked my car i noticed that the ONE I DID NOT replace the tape on was missing. The TAPE HAD LET LOOSE,,AND IT HAD BLOWN OFF ON THE WAY HOME SOMEWHERE. I call smartmadness IMMEDIATELY and explained what the tape did on the The FIRST one and what i did to fix it, and IT WAS STILL ON but the other one that APPEARED to be stuck ok with THEIR TAPE have fell off, due to tape FAILURE. and was lost. I CALLED EMMEDIEATLY COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS when they started to YELL at me and they told me i was out of luck! They CLAIM that unless i HAVE BOTH PIECES to send back they WILL NOT warranty !! HOW ARE YOU supposed to have the piece that flew off due to DEFECTIVE TAPE ADHESIVE!! they then PROCEEDED to YELL and tell me that i SHOULD NOT have used a DEFECTIVE product. I said that the one APPEARED TO BE STUCK WELL!! Then they supposedly had the OWNER call me back. He ALSO YELLED and was VERY rude. The best they could come up with was for me to PURCHASE ANOTHER piece and spend more money. I DONT THINK SO!! I recieved an email the next day concerning the issues. They COMPLETELY turned around what i had said had happened and said that the one I FIXED had flew off DUE TO MY NEGLIGENCE . I emailed back and STATED AGAIN WHAT REALLY HAPPENED and that the ONE I FIXED was still on !! The one I DID NOTHING WITH is the one that flew off. NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I HAVE HEARD NOTHING from the company now. I have since DISPUTED the charge on the card, turned them into the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and will continue with the reviews anywere i can.
This is a WORD OF WARNING to the public in regards to the way the company handles themselves in the event of a warranty issue. ( which i have found out since that these eyebrows have had other issues) I realize that NOTHING is perfect, and sometimes, there is issues, BUT This could have been resolved VERY quickly and easily if they were HONEST and fair when there is an issue.
