Steve knows what he's doing!:
We hired Excelcon to come and clean our dryer out and remove all of the built-up lint. The guy they sent had no clue what to do, and he tried to take it apart but couldn't figure it out, so put everything back (incorrectly) without cleaning it. Then he said he wouldn't charge us but that the problem wasn't our dryer but the venting system (there was NO problem -- we just wanted regular maintenance!).
Nothing was put back correctly and our dryer wasn't cleaned out. So, we called Steve.
What a huge difference! He came out the same day, took one look at the dryer, and knew exactly what to do. Got it all apart and cleaned out and did a fantastic job.
We are very, very pleased with his knowlege, service and professionalism. We'd definitely recommend him and we'll certainly use him again in the future.

Bad, really bad...:
Unfortunately, I selected this guy out of the telephone book after calling another repair service that did not answer their telephone. What a MISTAKE.
I explained to Steve what was going on with the dryer and he went on and on about how he could not guarantee any fixes. I should have told him I was not interested, but figured he was just covering his a**. Well, the guy charged me over $300 and did not fix a thing. He even replaced the rollers then told me that my old rollers were fine?!
Most annoyingly is the guy is very argumentative, repeats himself inccessantly and instills zero confidence that he knows what he is doing.
I called him a week later and told him that while I understood I had signed off on "non-guaranteed" repair, I thought it would be nice if returned and made one more attempt to fix the dryer. He agreed, but did not call me back. I called him a month later and reminded him of his promise to return. Steve began talking non-sense about how he could not find the "right part" and I should get it for him? My response, "Are you kidding Steve?" At that point, I told Steve that I was done dealing with him and I would never recommend him. What a miserable experience.
