Unprofessional after making a mistake in installation:
We had Jeff Savis with Sunrise heating and air conditioning install a new electric furnace and air conditioning unit in our house during the summer of 2013. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. We originally had a oil furnace and jeff had warned us that the heat would not be as hot when the temperature was very low with the electric heater. We were ok with this due to how expensive oil is and planned to supplement with a fire insert. Winter of 2013/2014 during the coldest of the months the house was 52 degrees and the heater was circulating cold air. I called Jeff's cell phone twice to see if he could come look at the heater and left messages but he never called me back. I spent the entire winter with my oven on broil 24-7 and space heaters going and the warmest I could get the house was 60 degrees. (We did not have the fire insert installed yet) This winter January of 2015 I decided to call another company to look at the heater. They told me that the heat strip was not wired properly and it was only using a third of its capacity. Also the thermostat was not programmed properly. I tried calling the cell phone number I had for Jeff to see if I could let him know what happened. When he called me back an hour later I explained the situation and asked if he would be willing to reimburse me for the 344 dollar cost. He immediately became extremely defensive and did not seem concerned at all that one of his customers ended up spending a winter freezing. He was very unprofessional and unwilling to help in any way. If I had been able to get ahold of him that first winter I would have loved for him to come fix it because it could have been an honest mistake. But since I never got a reply I went ahead and used another company right away this winter. I don't know how he was able to call me back so quickly this winter but not last, but unfortunately by the time he did call back I already paid for the work.
