RUN!! Most horrible hair experience of my life!:
I am writing here in hopes that nobody ever has to experience the turmoil the owner Joyce Miceli has but me through!

I came to Joyce for hair extensions, and she assured me she had years of experience and could do the work. I explained to her I only wanted top notch hair, and she suggested Bohyme hair, and was set to charge me $850. I was willing to pay the extra amount because I had had hair extensions for 2 years before while growing out a short haircut, and I knew that the most important thing is the type of hair used.

Joyce does not do the ectual work herself. She had an assistant that was actually putting in the hair. The first very annoying thing, is my extensions were not there the day she promised and I was on stand by all day waiting for UPS to deliver. This was also very frustrating for the stylist putting the extensions in. When they did finally arrive it was just before 5pm, and I had no other opportune time to go, because I was working the whole weekend.

Joyce's assistant agreed to accomodate my schedule and stay late that thursday night and put the extensions in. When looking at the hair I asked her if the hair was supposed to be so curly, because it seemed very curly compared to what I normally get. I told Joyce I usually got wavy hair, but that was the brand Cinderella hair, I left it up to her 15 years of expertise to advise me what I should be getting in the Bohyme line. Her assistant then said the hair can be straightened, curled etc. She curled it all over to give it more of a tame look. She asked me if I liked it, honestly, I was not sure, and who is going to say anything negative after a few minutes. I figured I needed to go home play with it, style it my own way and see.

Friday morning I wake up try to tame this wild mangled mess on my head,and it is impossible the hair looks and feels like barbie hair, it was colormatched wrong, it was shedding everywhere, and looked just HORRIBLE!! I called Joyce right away letting her know how unhappy I was. I went down to her salon husband and baby in tow and told her just look at this awful poor qaulity hair.

Her response was to put braided weave tracks in between the fusion tracks!!!! What the heck???? I agreed to come back to have this done because I was desperate and upset. After it sunk in what she was trying to do, I quickly called her back to say NO I did NOT want a braided weave, and covering up this awful hair with more hair is just obsurd!!! I told her she needs to get this junk OUT of my hair, and send this awful hair back to the company, and give me my money back!!!

She never responded, I had to call her back Monday after I went to another salon to have a consultation. The girl there was mortified that Joyce looked at my hair and could not see what an awful mismatch in texture this hair was for my hair. She said the hair looked synthetic, and a cheap synthetic at that. People at work have told me it does not look or feel like real hair.

I cannot get the extensions out until next week and I have to go around with this awful c@!p in my hair. I had big plans all weekend that now I cannot even wear my hair down for.

The worst part of this when I told Joyce she needed to refund me my money......(I paid 425 up front and then 425 the day the extensions were put in, luckily my better sense told me Friday to stop payment on check #2, and I did) I advised Joyce again she needed to take the extensions out and send back to the company....she became upset and irrate accusing me of not taking care of the extensions...this is after less than 24 hours of wearing them!!! HOW in the world is it MY fault. She took zero accountability and did not want to hear anything else except that I was stuck with this bad hair. How in the world did I wear extensions for 2 YEARS.......(4 different sets of hair) if I didn't know how to take care of them!! I never in those 2 years had ANY issue!! It was absolutely a flawless experience.

It is going to cost money to get this awful hair removed and then I have to pay all over again to have them put in all over again by a PROFESSIONAL!!!

This lady needs her liscence revoked. I will sue her in small claims for her negligent behavior. Please do NEVER go here!!! This is not the first time she has been completely negligent in ordering the right hair for people!! She has no professionalism or customer service. The girl who put the extensions in has quit, after Joyce refused to pay her. This was before Joyce even knew I stopped payment on the second check. Now she has NOBODY to fix my hair even if she wanted to!!

Please RUN from this place. I am going to complain to the BBB whatever it takes so she does not cheat another person and put them through the pain of dealing with her!!
