Tejas Management Systems is a long established provider of Home and Community Based Services ( HCS ) and Texas Home Living Services ( TxHmL ) operated under contract with the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. In operation since 1985, Tejas currently has multiple residential and day program sites serving over 100 individuals with disabilities in 6 south and central Texas counties.Providing Family-based services is our only job.Tejas has offered these services since 1985. Tejas maintains compliance with all state and federal standards and laws. Tejas' management and professional staff represent more than 150 years of service to persons with disabilities.Since 1985, Tejas has provided services to more than 400 adults and children with mental retardation ranging in age from 2 to 70. We have a history of serving consumers with complex needs including those with visual, hearing or mobility impairments, seizure conditions, psychiatric diagnoses, special dietary needs, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Reyes Syndrome, autism, those who use multiple adaptive aids and individuals who require tube feedings.
