Disgusted in Omaha:
We ordered our dress from Bridal Gallery back in January 09 for a September 09 wedding. The first problem came when a person who had ordered a similar dress cancelled their order and our order was cancelled by mistake. Ok stuff happens, but the replacement dress has supposed to have been shipped over night, a month ago, 3 different times now. Jenny the manager, is almost impossible to reach, and never calls back when she promises to. I was told last Saturday 8/8/09 when we visited the store that she promised she would call us yesterday 8/13 with an update as the dress was yet again supposed to ship 8/13. No phone call by 1pm, so I called the shop only to be told Jenny was at home with a sick child and not available but the person who answered the phone said she would call Jenny at home and ask her to return my call. I didn’t hear anything by 3pm so I called again. I was told she had just gotten hold of Jenny but because she wasn’t at home and didn’t have access to her file she would absolutely call me back later last night with an update. No call. And here we are 3 weeks till wedding day. I would never recommend this shop unless you can find something off the rack. I am really trying to be reasonable…All I want is honest communication or an alternative solution. I have never been so frustrated with a business before.
