Horrible Experience:
I have never dealt with a more dishonest business. The salesman is a con-man, as is his boss. Almost nothing he told us was true. We got a bid to replace our counters with granite and also to install travertine backsplash. He told us that because our kitchen was small, he would charge the minimum for the backsplash and we could pick any of their travertine. The minimum went from $500 orally to $600 on the bid. He specifically told us to wait until we see the granite before picking out travertine. While the granite installers were there, we went to the Friendswood location and picked out travertine. They even delivered some travertine (not what we picked out, but close) to our house. Then they tell me that I have to pay $1200 more for that color, and my quote only covered white. So we had to take the white (which looked fine).
After getting the quote, the salesman told us that we needed to put money down pretty quickly because he was quitting and when the boss saw what a great deal he was giving us, he would raise our price. Of course, the salesman is still there and didn't quit. It was all part of his con. They advertise cheap granite, but nothing the salesman showed us was anywhere near the cheap prices they advertise.
The salesman promised us a 45 degree joint in the L section of our counter. The installers didn't do that and yelled at my wife when they were questioned about how they were installing the granite.
The salesman told us we would be called within 2 days to schedule the install. Of course, we were not and had to call several times to get them to schedule it at all.
The granite installer yelled at my wife after they broke a piece they were installing and she questioned them about how they were going to fix it or replace it.
The salesman came to my house and took all of the measurements, and saw that our bar counter was supported by being attached to a section about 4 inches wide. The granite installers said that the granite was too heavy to be attached by something that narrow and said I needed to put in supports. When they left, I had 3 pieces of wood wedged from the floor to the bottom of the bar to support the granite and make it level. I asked why wasn't that figured into the installation, since it should have been obvious to someone that knew what they were doing that it was too narrow. The owner said they would take care of it, for a larger fee of course. So they sold me granite that could not be installed without modifications to the bar.
Everyone told me that the guy at the Gulf Fwy location was the owner. When I talked to him, he would take no responsibility and said the owners were overseas.
Overall, dealing with this company was a miserable experience. I will never do business with them and would urge anyone needing flooring our counters to find someone, anyone, else. These people will try their best to screw you.

After 3 months they contacted me to come out and finish the installation. What do they think I've done for 3 months? The company left the granite bar installation incomplete and left me to finish it myself, even though the bid was for full installation, not partial. The manager, who I thought was going to get violent after my wife took a photo inside the store, told me that they refused to put any supports under the bar area even though it was obviously unstable, would not hold without further support, and the installers themselves said it had to have more support. When the installers left, there were boards propped between the floor and granite bar to support it. That is how US Flooring Factory, AKA The Factory Countertops, left it- refusing to complete the installation that they had agreed to complete.

The grout around the travertine is already cracking and I now have to try and find a matching grout to repair it- after 3 months. Their work just keeps getting worse.
