Guts reveal one of the most lavish speakeasies this side of Norma Desmond's house—antique chandeliers, celestial ceiling heights, baby grand piano player, mahogany walls, and columns. Sophisticates sip sublime cocktails in LBC, never having heard of this "Snoop Dogg" fellow. Cavernous space makes some feel small, but friendly staff and live piano jazz ease all insecurities. Drink a few cocktails too many and imagine you're Al Capone. Nice wines and free Wi-Fi for Manhattan cousin keeping an eye on Page 6 and his hedge fund. They really don't get this beach life, do they?...
