Tips

Know Before You Go:

When to Go:
Cooking on forks takes time--something to keep in mind if you've got after-dinner plans. It's a great place for people just getting to know each other or who truly enjoy each other's company.

Dead fly on my filet mignon! Worst experience of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
Not kidding! I have never been so disgusted in my LIFE! $250.00 for C@!P! And to top it off, after telling the manager about the dead fly, he offered to pay for the desert... we did not even have enough chocolate for the four of us... maybe one tops two people could have used that c@!p. This horrible experience never started off well either. The hostess did not get the message that we had changed our reservations by a half an hour. So when I let her know we had called, she looked at me and said "Are you sure you called the right place?" I handed her my phone and said, "you tell me". Of course I called the right place! She kept her snobbish attitude until I suggested we leave, and someone else said that they would take care of us. It went down hill from there on... I am so sorry that I took my pregnant sister and her husband there.

All kinds of fondue are served at this comfortable, upscale restaurant. The dish, which originated in Switzerland, involves table-top cookery of meat, bread and other assorted bits in boiling oil or melted cheese. It's perfect for cold winter nights---in fact, it has a way of turning them into warm, romantic ones. Meals here are long and leisurely, often involving several courses and ending...
