Very Rude managment and unsuitable to live in:
One common complaint about the Park at Callington in most of the online reviews is that most of the staff members and the manager are EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. My interaction with the leasing staff, the manager, and the district manager were the same. It is difficult to comprehend what is going on up their heads.
They have this low-class ignorant behavior, but also this tendency of outsmarting their corporate leadership team to hire them as leasing agents and managers (in their head, it is the best Job they have had). You can tell by their overbearing or bullying behavior. They are over-excited because, in their little mind, only low-lives who cannot afford to live in the Park at Callington. Therefore, they talk to you like the lowlife you are for choosing their complex. I apologize to any tenant who I may offend, but these people thought process is sick, and the manager is the key driver.

Similarly, someone noted on one of their reviews that they have this mob pack mentality.

Regardless of what is going on in that rental office, something is utterly disturbing with those people and the place.
Even when you try to help them and tell them about what some of their reviews are saying about their behaviors, they were entirely clueless outside of their little office spaces and about what drives a business. Others have said they behaved like this because the corporate office does not answer complaints. I tried to talk to the corporate office and they dont answer. I also believe they do not answer because they do not want to be on the record of making unethical interactions. They all have a different interpretation of the company’s lease agreements. Alabama is a “one-party consent states,” so please wiretap all conversations with these people as I have done. This will counter their scams in court because these people are very unethical and crooked. Get your facts (wiretap audio on your cell phone conversations and written), and you may not need money to get a Pro Bono lawyer to sue them. The lawyer will add his or her fees as part of the settlement.
While I hate the fact that I signed a contract with these people for someone else, I am so happy I have never lived in the property. I will not even trust these people to have a key to where I lay my head down every night. They have this hustler mentality but still not smart enough because you can see through them.
They will try all effort not to show you the actual apartment but take you to a showroom. Management will tell you that they are renovating, which is one of their TOP selling points. However, when you take a closer look, they are just deceiving you because, within the cavity of the drywall and framing, they still have those nasty old smells, dead creatures, and dirty. That is why most of the places have that foul, moldy smelling odor that is suffocating when you enter the rooms. The place smells like a dirty sock. It is a result of the years of build-up mold and bacteria and other dead things.
The first day while helping the person to move, we saw RATS, ROACHES, and MOLDS.
