Great Store:
I recently had a great experience with Tompkins Flooring in Irvine. From the moment I stepped into their store, I was treated special. The salesman was never pushing. He showed me several different qualities of carpet pointing out the features so I could make my own decision what I wanted to choose without feeling pressured to buy the top of the line. I compared the pricing with a few other businesses including the larger flooring businesses and found Tompkins pricing the best. I was very pleased with the installation and turn around time. I trust Tompkins to be fair and trustworthy. I'll be back when I need more flooring.
Tompkins has a judgement against the lows for the full amount of contract. The court found mr. Lows ...:
TOMPKINS HAS A JUDGEMENT AGAINST THE LOWS FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF CONTRACT. THE COURT FOUND Mr. LOWS NOT CREDITALBLE. They did not tell the truth just to get free carpet.
Robert Lowes showed his appreciation by wanting it all for nothing. He thinks he can enter a written contract and get work done on his home for free and and not pay anthything. A lean was field and he was required to pay by the court. Delia Rhoads is our ANONYMOUS customer listed many times below. Because she talked of allergies we suggested to go with wood or laminate. She did not want to pay the extra cost because she did not have the money, her mother was paying for the carpet. Royalty Carpet Mill provided and tested the carpet. They found it to be non toxic and in compliance with the Carpet and Rug Institute (CSI) Royalty, StainMaster and Tompkins Flooring offered to replace her carpet, no questions asked within 30 days at no cost to her. She refused the replacement and wanted to negotiate a major discount with payments. If she had stains, done poorly, and smelly toxic carpet as she stated, why would she not replace it at no cost to her? Because she tried to make up reasons to negotiate not paying. She thought if she said the ‘T’ word TOXIC, she could get out of paying. The carpet was non of the above, she just tried to get out of paying.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Lowes and Rhoades are the only two people that have complained because they were not honest and tried to get out of paying, even at the cost of a judgement on Lowes. A lien is only field when a customer will not pay for work that was completed.------------------------------------------------------Tompkins Flooring is one of the oldest flooring companies in Orange County,family owned since 1942. No one wants to be cheated out of there hard work.

We had our flooring done by Tompkins. The work was very poorly done and we were forced to incur additional expenses to undo and correct the problems created by the sub-standard installation. We voiced our concerns with the owner and instead of working with us to arrive to a fair resolution; he filed a lien on our property.
