The Trappist is is owned and operated by Aaron Porter and Chuck Stilphen. We strive to bring you the finest beer available, served properly at the correct temperature and in the correct glass by a knowledgeable and well-trained staff. Our bottle list features a rotating stock of approximately 100 Belgian, Dutch, Scandinavian and American craft brews

Look Good: The Trappist serves each beer at an ideal temperature for bringing out subtle flavors. If that's too warm for you, ask for yours chilled, but beware the scornful looks.

Where to Sit: Seating is limited, but there's a high turnover at the bar, so it pays to order a glass and hover.

Grand pillars, brick walls, soft lighting, and the buzz of conversation set a warm and mellow tone inside this Victorian space that's been renovated to resemble a traditional Belgian pub. The setting is definitely a draw, but the real stars are the artisan beers: more than a hundred Belgian, Dutch, and North American ones. The light fare includes panini made with organic ingredients.
