The best Martial Arts school in the bronx!:
I absolutely love Ultimate Studio Martial Arts taekwondo school. My daughters have been enrolled in this school since day one that the school opened its doors and heart to our community. Our children have been fortunate to have Michael Simmons as a teacher and role model. This young world competetor and instructor has always instilled discipline courage and a safe clean haven for all of our children. A family oriented taekwondo school, generous and respectful staff. awesome and clean facility. I will forever be greatful to this wonderful young man for being a father figure to all of our children. He works hard to give our minority children a home away from the streets and makes sure that parents get involved to. A home away from home at a reasonable price for many of our families. When you get the chance make sure to come by and see for yourself, you will not be dissappointed.
Sahbumnim: Thank you for teaching me the value of family togetherness and that the family that kicks together, sticks together!

Amazing school:
My daughter has been going to this school for 3 years and I have been participating in the adult classes for a year. This is an exeptional school at a reasonable price. There are few schools, if any, that will teach your child (or yourself) self-defense effectively. You're motivated to work hard and learn effective forms/techniques to defend yourself. When you go to this school you feel as though you could properly defend yourself, if you were put in a situation to fight. Just be prepared to work hard - there are no free passes in this school. And I wouldn't have it any other way, there are no short cuts in life. The instructor/owner of the business goes above and beyond in his duties as teacher and mentor. Not to mention he's a multi-titled national winner in Taekwondo & Gumdo (Korean Sword Fighting). He actively competes throughout the year and usually takes the #1 slot. So you know when you learn from him, you're learning from the best. As far as being a mentor is concerned - he has a policy of kids showing him their report cards. And when a child goes for belt promotion their teacher must sign a paper stating the child behaves and does well in class. There are other numerous ways he mentors the children. In class he teaches the students to not only defend themselves, but the value of hard work. I could go on praising the school but it's best if you check out the place for yourself. It comes highly recommended by all the parents who have kids in the school. (also has an afterschool program)
