Dont bring your animals here!!!!:
I brought my cat into this hospital in March. He had what looked to me as an infected back claw. The vet came in and agreed and proceeded to remove his claw. After doing this they gave me medicine, they called it "kitty tylenol" and told me to give it to him for the pain. So I did because I trusted the vet. After about a week of giving this medicine to my cat he became sick. He wouldnt eat, drink, he kept throwing up, and he was lethargic. I took him to a new vet and he told me my cat was in severe kidney failure and it was due to the "kitty tylenol". This "kitty tylenol" is also known as Metacam and if you look this up it is NOT approved to be given to cats orally only for dogs. This vet gave my 10 lb cat a dosage for a 80lb dog. My cat almost died because of them. He had to stay in the animal ER for 4 days hooked up to an IV so his kidneys could get better. Luckily, my cat made it through. We called the manufactuer of METACAM and even they said that the dosage the vet gave him was very deadly. This drug is not intended to be given to cats and I dont care what the vet says, look it up for yourself and you will be shocked. They almost killed my animal. Thank god for Blanco North Animal Hospital for saving my cat!! We even went back to talk to the vet about it and she could have cared less. So please dont take your animals here.
