*Voted "Best Pizza" by S.F. Focus Magazine*Neopolitan & Sicilian Style Pizza
When Paul Sarkis moved to San Francisco in the early 1970's, he missed his favorite Brooklyn Pizza. The hearty, zesty meal of his childhood made San Francisco's Pizzas seem pale by comparison. In search of the taste of his youth, he and his partner opened the first Village Pizzeria in 1979. They believed they could combine Brooklyn flavor with California fresh and produce a truly great pizza.
