Terrible! No Customer Service and way overpriced!:
I've been going to this expensive woman ( who happens to own the only black hair store in this area) for at least 4 years. She is way over priced and has no customer service skills at all. Every time I go in there I specifically ask for what I want and she tries to sell me everything else but what I want luckily I know hair because if I didn't she would get me for my money. She doesn't have prices on anything in the store at all, meaning that whenever you come in the price can be whatever she decides for that day and I have experienced this with her. Yesterday I specifically asked her for silky straight human hair and she was giving me prices for them and I don't know how expensive hair is the same as cheap hair. She kept trying to sell me fashion source hair which is a brand that I refuse to buy because I don't like it and I told this to her. So I got tired of going back and forth with her and told her to just give me some silky straight that is not fashion source. I get to the house where my client is waiting for me and I realize that the hair doesn't match because she sold me yaky hair not silky straight like I asked. I called her and tried to explain to her that she sold me yaky hair and not silky straight hair and the first thing the woman told me was that she doesn't give refunds. She wasn't concerned that she sold me the wrong hair nor the fact that I needed to finish my clients hair and I had already given her 40 dollars for a 14 inch (black and gold) hair. If you know hair then you know that I probably paid too much for that. So I am arguing on the phone with this woman and I finally get her to at least let me switch the hair since I never touched it but that was all I wanted in the first place. She was so concerned about not giving me my money back that she never heard me say that. So when I got to the store I asked her why she sold me yaky hair when I specifically asked her for silky straight hair and she didn't have an answer because she kept dodging the question. So I ended up buying some Janet Collection Mink Yaky silky touch that matched my clients hair better. She charged me an extra 25 dollars, so in total it was 65 dollars. The first time she didn't charge me tax then all of a sudden she said 5 dollars tax on it. I didn't say anything I just left the store and thought to myself I hope that 65 dollars was worth losing a dear customer. But if you really want to know a good hair store, a lady just opened one in Seaside called Solyana. She is helpful and not overpriced. She just lives two cities away from me and I didn't feel like taking that ride that night.
