This is a GREAT Company run by Mothers who UNDERSTAND!:
Crazed yet another day our nanny called out at the last minute . Thank Goodness we were already regisrtered with YOUR OTHER HANDS. I called frantic , an hour later I swore Mary Poppins walked through our door. The woman was that sweet professional down to business and then snuggled with baby as we discussed the days routine. They described her to me to the T. They really know their staff first hand as is their motto not to ever hire anyone who they would not have care for their own. How refreshingly true. ANd to boot we feel better about supporting a locally owned company not some huge for profit network on line.Enough of the depersonalization happening to us all. Thank you for allowing me this chance to say something good for a change.

We found this GREAT Service via our Doctor:
I was on my third nanny since our child was born. And thinking I was asking too Much, I went ahead & asked for advice from my pediatrician. Who said they have been using & recommending only a Company by the name of Your Other Hands. Called and the process was fast easy and far less expensive then going it alone. Found out by owners what I was asking was Normal and I now have the worlds best Nanny because of this service. Call them it is worth every penny. I really recommend these folks.

Not good for long term care:
They described themselves as a caring responsible professional nanny service. We interviewed 13 candidates and only 4 had any really nanny experience. The person we chose had never worked for a nanny service before, she was great at the beginning but within 3 mos., she was calling out at random and waiting for us to leave for work before developing ailments. They provided temporary replacements, 2 were fine, and one nanny frightened our son terribly. We thought we found a permanent replacement and they assured us she was a seasoned nanny. As it turns out she had not work as a nanny for almost 13 yrs and she left our son in the pack n play with a soiled diaper so she could make cell phone calls. We terminated our relation with the service after that. They seemed to be more interested in misrepresenting themselves and collecting fees than proving responsible professional nanny care.
