People like me always try and find the good in people. I had a part replaced on my car. There was the exact part replacement on youtube. There were three videos demonstrating just how easy it was. Three bolts and a connector. It took five minutes. I was charged 90 dollars for labor. I called Ford for the part. The part retailed to me for 406 dollars but it was all over the web for 109 dollars from many different manufacturers. A&D charged me over 375 dollars. (heres where I try and understand the reasoning) They charged me less than the Ford OEM but they didn't install an OEM. So, I was charged 90 dollars for a five minute install (labor is less than 90 dollars an hour) Oh yea, the diagnosis for finding out this part was bad cost me over 30 dollars which was tacked on the 90 dollars for a grand total of 130+ dollars. Are there any honest mechanics out there?
