Excellent company:
AJ Michaels installed a heater/air conditioner unit for me in my condominium 10 years ago.
Up to now, my only contact with them has been to buy a new filter each year.
I had a problem with my air conditioner during a heat wave, and they responded quickly and fixed the problem.
Courteous and efficient company.

3 weeks still broken:
3 weeks ago when I moved into a new place my shower head broke off in the wall. I called Aj Michaels to get an estimate and it took them a week to get out here, that was a friday. I told the guy price sounds good and gave him the green light. He told me he couldn't do it then that the office would call me and make an appointment but it should be first of the week. Monday came and went so tuesday afternoon I called them, the lady told me they were all booked up and friday was the soonest. After some discussion she then said well I should be able to work you in for wed. afternoon. Then wed came and went I called again(They have never called me). Then she told me they weren't able to make it but they will be here fri morning between 8 and 9. Now its 11am so once again I call them, the lady then can't find my job order after she finally locates it she informs me that they had to "special order" the fitting and no place in all of Baltimore had the part and they are still waiting for UPS. She also tells me if it doesn't get here today that it would be monday. It will be 3 weeks monday since my shower broke and since I first called them. BEWARE USE SOMEONE ELSE THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH MONEY TO YANK YOU AROUND!!!!!!

Seriously shady company!:
These awful people are step above scam artists but equal to robbery. They overcharge per hour, they pad the amount of time worked, they vastly overcharge for parts, they show up when they feel like it. They have no respect for others people's time.
If you live in a condo and the management recommends A.J. Michaels, they have a side deal and are both stealing from you.
They do get the job done, but last time i checked that was the whole point.

Shadiest company ever!:
All this company wants to do is stea your money! You can ask any simple question and they always say they must go to your house to see it. It cost $59 just to go to your house. I told them I have a parts warranty and they claim they it was not in their computer that I actually got the installation done by them. I told them I can prove it to them by sending it to them online but they say the only way I can prove it is if a guy comes out and sees the paper. So that's $59 just for a guy to see one paper and then leave? WOW way to make money! Next...I can read english very well, it says on the paper specifically...6 years parts and tank warranty. They told me the warranty is only applied to the tank. I mean it says PARTS AND TANK! This part of it was the secretary was sooooo rude about it and started getting fustrated when I started to prove her wrong. She got scared and recommended her manager but her manager wasn't even there! They are two face too, I asked them how much it cost to replace an exansion tank and they said $400. When I call the next day, they said they don't know how much it cost to get it replaced. First of all, exapansion tanks only cost $50 and how can they not know how much it cost to replace and entire expansion tank? This is not rocket science. Overall...I would take my business some place else. These people will rip you off at all means!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
