Description

Believe it or not, in the heart of the nascent counter-culture movement of 1971, A Moveable Feast first opened its doors at the corner of Westheimer and Montrose. In those days, the health food movement and a Rodale-inspired organic lifestyle were totally alien to Houston's fried food, bar-b-que, and big steak lifestyle. Granola was hippie food, and vegetarianism was downright un-Texan.

The restaurant has some of the best brunch. usually get the big veggie plate with the red curry but decided on a chicken Caesar salad. The staff here is so friendly.
