I recently contacted A1A Overhead Door to replace a torque master plus spring on my garage door. I was quoted $146 for parts/labor $29.95 for a service charge. I found that to be very reasonable. Once they arrived he looked at my door and said, "we need two external springs and whole new assembly and it will cost between $500-600". I said that I want the same part that is already installed and the retail cost of that part is $90. Once I told him thanks, but no thanks...he tried and charge me for the service call. He didn't get any money from me and I suggest that everyone avoid this company at all costs. My suggestion is to use First choice supply.
