I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO PET OWNER USE THIS PET CEMETERY! My dog of 17 years passed away Saturday night (Sept 6 08). Less then 15mins after he died I called their 24 hour service line to have my pet removed. Between 7:25pm Sat night & 12pm Sun afternoon I called them 4 times, because no one from Sorrento Valley came to remove my dog I was forced to move his body TWICE just to keep him from baking under the hot sun. Monday morning my mom called to light a fire under them to get someone to remove my dog that day. Finally someone shows up but it was only 1 guy, HE CAME IN HIS OWN CAR and then used a comforter...an actual bed comforter to remove my dog with. Since they left my dog decaying in the yard for so long he had become bloated. He was too heavy for this 1 guy to carry on his own so I had to help. He handed me one end of the comforter and I helped carry my beloved dog down the stairs and lift him into the back of his car. It was an unbelievable nightmare! This pet cemetery is no good, completely unorganized, unprofessional and disrespectful. Their staff from top to bottom needs intense training on how to deal with grieving owners and they need help with how to properly remove a deceased pet.
