Tim Price swindled me:
As a local practitioner as well as a neighbor, I like to support our small business owners in the community. However, I had such a horrible experience with the company ABC Web Service (AKA, ABC American Value Inc.) and with the owner "Timothy W. Price", that I felt responsible to offer a word of caution to hopefully prevent another customer from suffering my same loss.
During my initial meeting with Mr. Tim Price on May 1st of 2014 at the ABC Web service office on Oakland Park Blvd, Mr. Price promised to deliver a customized website with Search Engine Optimization, something he stated he had vast experience in doing. They asked for the total payment of 797.00 dollars in 5/1/2014, which I provided at this meeting.
During the second meeting Timothy Price only produced a Draft of one home page webpage which very similar to website in California which I could not use because of obvious reasons.
During the third meeting Mr. Price sat down with me and started to make a mock website on the fly right in front of me. He misspelled words, utilize incorrect color selections, and needed help placing headers and footers. It was then when I confirmed Mr. Price was not qualified for the work I needed. I communicated to him how unhappy I was with his service. He never apologized. Not only were they unable to show any competency in quality and aesthetic of web design, but far worse displayed poor ethics and lack of professionalism.
I also realized I had made a mistake paying everything for the website in advance, as Mr. Price cut contact with me but he kept the payment. I was so disappointed I called the credit card company for a refund. When he found out I was requesting a refund, Mr. Price became furious; sending me aggressive and threatening emails and fighting me with the credit card company.
I contacted my credit card (AmEx) and requested a charge back. Then they sent correspondence threatening me and my company to allow them to charge me for a service was not provided. Now, it is one year later and I am still in contact with my credit card company submitting supporting evidence to show they did not provided the promised service.
